The have already had a chance to get a look at Jonathan Mingo in their building. They've decided he's someone worth keeping around with a new contract. Wednesday morning that the Cowboys have signed Mingo to a new one-year deal that's worth $1.145 million. It's a small price to pay for a former second-round pick with prototypical size for the wide receiver position. Of course, the reason Mingo doesn't cost more is that he hasn't produced much in his NFL career since the took him 39th overall in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Ole Mi s. Still, he's only going Colton Dach Jersey to turn 25 in April. There's still a lot of raw talent here that hasn't been realized. MORE: Mingo spent his first 24 NFL games with the Panthers and in that time had 55 catches for 539 yards. He was sent to Dallas midway through the 2024 season and played eight games the rest of that campaign with the Cowboys, catching five pa ses for 46 yards. In 2025, Mingo got just six active regular season games for the Cowboys and made just one catch for 25 yards. At this point, Dallas clearly views him as a depth piece, especially in a strong WR room that includes CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. There are worse spots for Mingo to be, though.
